The staircase is often the most important item of joinery in your home. It can enrich the environment, and in the right position provides charm and that “wow” factor to the entrance of your home.
When we create staircases, we bring out the natural beauty of the timber. We can expose the grain and natural features found in a variety of timber types. We have experience with a wide range of timber, including the higher specification European Oak, American Oak, American Ash and on through to more cost sensitive timber such as Southern Yellow Pine and European Redwood.
Staircases are something I really enjoy creating. Whatever you are looking for, whether that be a straight flight, winder flight, quarter space landing, or if you are simply looking for some design ideas, I can come and talk you through the options available to you depending on the space you have.
One of the more outstanding projects that I undertook was probably the design, manufacture and fitting of the grand staircase I made for a customer in Long Ashton which included a large circular galleried landing. We also make standard straight flights as well as feature staircases for barn conversions, replica staircases for listed buildings and have also built staircases in churches and other places of worship.
